Park & House Rules
basically - things you should know....
- On first arrival, please sign in at reception, maximum speed limit for vehicles 5 mph, owner's vehicles may be banned from site if this is exceeded.
- Please restrict all noise to a reasonable level so as not to cause concern to others enjoying the park. No noise to be audible outside holiday homes after 10pm.
- No children to play around caravans. No playing outside after 9.00pm or dusk. Parents will be held responsible for their child/children's behaviour. Mis - behaving children will be sent home .......leaving their parents to enjoy the rest of their holiday.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead (no longer than 2 metres) at all times, only exercised off park, they are not to pee or poop within site boundary but in the event of an "accident" it must be picked up. Please ensure dogs read these rules and tell them they must have adequate flea/tick protection. Dogs must not be left unattended in the holiday homes unless housed in a cage.
- Please notify reception if you intend to arrive/leave between midnight and 7 am. The CCTV security system is sensitive.
- No parking on the grass or in between caravans, there is a designated parking area. "Second" cars are to be parked outside the clubhouse at busy times and may incur a £1 per night parking fee. Parking on the road outside the holiday homes is permitted for loading and unloading only.
- Visitors are welcome to the site but please ask them to report to reception first, sign in, and staff will be pleased to direct them to friends' or relative's accommodation.
- There is a no smoking policy, and legal requirement, inside all park buildings and this includes all holiday homes. Smoke detectors are in use.
- The reception is usually open between 9.00am and 5.00pm. If the matter is urgent try Dave Allen on his contact number or very exceptionally eg serious health/safety/security problem ring the bell outside reception which contacts the house near the park entrance.
- Guests are responsible for the security of their own belongings.
- Damage/breakages caused to or in the holiday homes are to be reported to Dave Allen, as soon as possible, and may be charged for, but it's mainly so we can rectify the problem for you/ and next guests.
- The park is only available to families, couples and singles. No single sex groups, sorry - no hen or stag parties etc...
- Dave Allen will not be held liable for any loss or personal injury during a holiday stay. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
- No refunds will be given for alterations on pre booked holidays or deposits paid.
- Please do not remove contents from the holiday homes including books, equipment manuals, radios & towels for beach use etc. A contents inventory is available in the homes, any items unaccounted for may be charged.
- The site warden is in charge of the site and instructions should be obeyed at all times. If a serious breach of these rules or any other anti social behaviour occurs all guests within a group booking may be instructed by the warden and/or Dave Allen to vacate the site. In such circumstances no refund of rental paid will be due.
- There is a self contained sewage system on site, please ensure that only items previously eaten/drunk and small amounts of toilet tissue are disposed of through the on site loos.
